Matthew Puffett's production career began in 1996 with a string of releases on Void Records, under aliases including Mode-M, Soul Electrik, and the pseudonym that would go on to host the majority of his work: Future Beat Alliance, where he continued to record under this moniker & released music for some of the most respected electronic labels across Europe including Tresor, Delsin, Rush Hour & Versatile. Matthew has also been the main Programmer & Engineer for James Lavelle`s UNKLE project since 2012, The body of work includes co-writing & programming UNKLE's 5th studio album, The Road Part I , Various film projects & advertising campaigns including Paul Bettany’s directorial debut Shelter , H&M`s winter fall 2012 campaign, scoring music for the short film "Erebus" & also remixing high profile bands including Queens Of The Stone Age, Bombay Bicycle Club, London Grammar, Mark Lanagen, The Duke Spirit & Ten Fe, During this period UNKLE were winners of the MPG Remixer Of The Year award in 2016 & 2018.
