Matrix B-4669 was recorded on three different dates, and three different takes were issued on Victor 64074: Take 1 was recorded on July 11, 1907 in New York, NY. Take 2 was recorded on May 20, 1909 in Camden, NJ. Take 5 was recorded on June 25, 1914 in Camden, NJ. The gold line under the catalog number of this release signifies a remake. Because this release is on the Victor "Patents" style label with three lines of patent information listed at the lower edge, ending with "May 1, 1912", it can be accurately dated to between mid-1912 and late-1913. Therefore, Take 2 was used on this release.
