Journalist and producer. Born in the UK, she has lived in Germany, Canada and moved to Jamaica in 1981. She has written for Billboard, Musician and Down Beat. She wrote the book 'Bob Marley: The Stories Behind Every Song' and has also worked in the Jamaican music industry. She is the mother of singer Tasha Wagener who was part of Genie And Tash. With her daughter she currently runs the animal shelter, The Animal House Jamaica.
