Maurice Gourvich or Морис Гурвич (1909 – 19??) was a Soviet viola-player, member of Bolshoi Theatre Quartet (1931–1968). He had been playing in the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra from 1930 to 1952, and after that joined the USSR State Symphonic Orchestra. From 1954, Maurice Gurvich became a concertmaster for viola group in the Orchestra. Also known as Moritz Gurwitsch, М. Гурвич
