Mauricio Javier González Guzmán is a Chilean digital artist, born in the southern city of Puerto Montt. He has been interested in art and design since he was a child. What merely started out as personal works and a complementary tool for design, gradually became stronger over time, transforming into a way for him to express certain emotions and concepts, to see reality, and use it as an escape. His style could be defined as digital surrealism, or as the Digital Art of Photo Manipulation, taking concepts and elements of traditional surreal painting to a new area in Chile. He has been dedicated to Digital Art since 2004.
