Making his first album at the age of 16, Max Edgin's roots started in the hardcore punk scene during the mid 80's. Max moved to Chicago at the start of the 90's, and was involved in the Industrial music scene while in college. His earlier demos were a strange mixture of influence, combining Military style hardcore beats with distorted basslines played through amplifiers. This style later became the basis for his Drum and Bass project "Team VSR", creating mosh pits at local techno nights and allowing him to play garage punk shows with the same setup. At the end of the 90's, Max dove into the world of Ambient/Experimental music, as a member of the performance space "The Lab" in Chicago (working w/Members of GVOON,Lab Report,Survival Research Laboratories, and many others). In the year 2000, after recovering from a car accident, Max moved to Los Angeles to work on the Final Cut album "Method of Operation". In 2005, Max started assembling tracks for a new project which he would later rename "SEAS of ARALI", letting him explore sound in a more tonal collage approach. Currently, Max is focusing on career and family, so his music output will be sparse until 2022.
