Canadian fiddler from Prince George, BC Bio from"Canadian Fiddle Music Volume 1" By ED WHITCOMB: Llewellyn McPherson (Max) Sexsmith began playing fiddle at six, learning it and guitar from his father and uncle. He began playing for dances during the depression for one dollar or less a night in British COlumbia. He played with the Blue Ridge Boys, the Rhythm Ranch Hands and the Caribou Old Timers for two decades including a regular show on radio. He is ione of hte founders of the British COlumbia Old Time Fiddle Association and has made one LP.
