Enter Maxum, the 19 year-old artist bringing an emotional and impactful agenda to the electronic dance world that can’t be ignored. Having carved the outset of his musical career whilst still in school, Nick Henriques used the majority of 2015 to diverge from the typical progressive sound, fusing older and more soulful influences as well as newer and groovier vibes along the way. With opening slots for Eric Prydz and Sander Van Doorn already under his belt, Maxum’s presence continues to peak in all the right ways. Support from such A-list names as Steve Angello, Axwell Ingrosso has been followed by remix opportunities for the likes of such Grammy nominated acts as Galantis, for which the Canadian newcomer flipped their crossover hit ‘Peanut Butter Jelly’ seamlessly. Add a debut appearance at Ultra Music Festival and main stage duties at Digital Dreams Festival, Canada’s largest dance music festival, and Nick is already a young prospect punching far and wide.
