A.k.a. May Alqasim

The young rising artist, May Alqasim was born in the Kingdom of Bahrain on January 30th 1991. Though May's background reflects Arab/Mediterranean heritage (casting from Bahrain and Tunisia), May has been growing up studying and socializing in a westernized community for all of her life. May is known as one of the only young developing female singer/songwriters' in the country, one that is struggling through in order to make a difference in the small island of Bahrain where a constant battle between her true passion and the community's lack of acknowledgement takes place.
