Mayakovsky

RU

A.k.a. Bittasynic d3 (2) Dan Stubbs

Named after Vladimir Mayakovsky, the leading poet of the Russian Revolution of 1917 and of the early Soviet period, and one of the founders of Russian Futurism movement. The name was the inspiration of Allan Spencer Hobbs, lifelong Bluenose Welsh resident of Surrey, England, during his flat-sharing experience with Obi Nick Kehuckbi, a Master of doing as little as possible except satisfying his predilection for Scandinavian synth-pop in the A-Ha vein. Confusing an ability to use the Google search engine with actual intelligence, Hobnob (his preferred name) suggested the name along with several suitably relevant track titles for the moniker, and the artist agreed and there was much rejoicing.
