Mayhem was Cleveland-based Heavy Metal band, formed in 1984, notable for bring the first band of Byron Nemeth, and Dave Kirtner (Brian McIntyre was already in Wicked Lester). After Mayhem's April 1985 demo release and building a sizable fanbase from their all-original headlining concerts they would eventually break up in late 1985. Byron and Brian went on to found Sacred Heart and Dave went on to found Point After (which also included such notable players as Calvin Burgess and Jack Kilcoyne and Mike Hanzel). After the split of Point After dave would also join Sacred Heart and sing on their "Holy War" tape. Brian and Dave would later come together again in the late 90s in the band Erecto Jector.7
