Danish folk duo formed 1969 by Niels Vilhelm Hansen and Hans Jørgen Christensen who performed as "Hans Jørgen & Niels Vilhelm" or with Evald Thomsen as "Evald Thomsens Spillemænd". In 1972 Hans Jørgen & Niels Vilhelm invited their musical friends, a number of musicians releated to the hippie movement and progressive rock, to take part in the recording of the first Danish folk music revival album. The album was titled "Med Kærlig Hilsen", and most of the arrangements were credited to "Med Kærlig Hilsen". In this way "Med Kærlig Hilsen" became both the title and the band. Their sole album was dedicated to Danish folk fiddler Evald Thomsen.
