Meem began as a live electronic act around 1995 playing minimal dancefloor sounds to crowds in Canberra. After relocating to Sydney in 1997, the debut double-album "Machines & Records" was released one year later. Meem soon moved to the beautiful, misty hilltops of the blue mountains, and it was here that he began to fine tune his unique sound and explore the wonderful influences of jazz, funk, and disco.
