Side B was originally composed for the Broadway show "Annie Get Your Gun" According to George Hulme's book "Mel Tormé: A Chronicle of His Recordings, Books and Films," both tracks were recorded in Los Angeles in late 1946. The orchestra personnel are unknown but the instrumentation is identified as Ray Linn on trumpet plus one trombone, five reeds, and four rhythm players. Harold Mooney is listed as the orchestral arranger for Side A and Ray Conniff arranged Side B.
