1960's Psychedelic Rock artist from Houston, Texas. Mel Douglas used this name around 1964. In 1966, when he made his only release on International Artists, he used the alias "Sterling Damon". For both songs, that he wrote on his own, he used the alias "Melvin Douglas Gilmore" for songwriting.
