Very applied and dedicated to the instrument, Mello Jr at age 17 begins to study with Mozart Mello. Aware of new discoveries Mello Jr worked hard every day to search for his own way of playing, making him very young at age 19 to record his first video lesson - Technique and Rock Improvisation. Under the effects of respect and public acceptance of his first work, two years later he recorded his second video lesson - Rock Ideas. In his solo career he recorded two solo instrumental CDs Plugged (1997) and Confusions (2003). In the instrumental scene, he recorded works with Celso Pixinga (Bass), Mauricio Leite (Drums), Max Robert (Bass). It opened the show of the famous guitarist Frank Gambale in São Paulo. Throughout his career he has performed more than 300 workshops in different and different places of the country. As Sideman (accompanying musician), he joined bands of artists like Wanessa Camargo, Zezé di Camargo and Luciano, Tony Tornado, Eduardo Araújo, among others. As a teacher he taught at the largest schools in São Paulo: EMT and Souza Lima. As a producer he wrote a music production course launched by Eclipse on the newsstands under the title "How to record his first CD" with a circulation of 30,000 copies, where he explains in a simple way all the processes of pre-production, production and post- CD
