Melton Mustafa (born November 23, 1947, Miami, Florida, USA - died December 28. 2017, Miami, Florida, USA) was an American jazz trumpeter, flugelhorn player, arranger and educator. He worked with many artists, including: Mercer Ellington, Bobby Watson, James Williams (2), John Hicks, and Gunther Schuller. He is the brother of saxophonist Jesse Jones, Jr..
