The Menhir, from Nuoro, are Kingaiè (also known by the name of Kappa) and Momak, real pioneers of rap in Sardinia. Their experience in the field of hip hop culture has its roots in the mid-eighties, when they start to embrace the passion for b-boying, dancing better known as breakdancing. Towards the end of the eighties the two rappers began to compose the first verse in the Sardinian language, inspired by Mc overseas and poets improvisers Sardinians .
