A.k.a. Judith Edra Peters
Born: 15th February 1949, L.A. County, California, USA. Peters, known as 'Miss Mercy' of GTO's, left home at 16 and headed for the freak-scene of Haight-Ashbury, spending many of her teenage years in crash-pads, drug-clinics, Golden Gate Park and jail. She eventually met up with Miss Cinderella & Christine Frka to share a room with the two at the popular musician's residence, The Landmark Motor Hotel where Janis Joplin sadly overdosed. The trio then became part of 'The Laurel Canyon Dance Company' with Vito Paulekas & Carl Franzoni. The core of this troupe, involving Peters, then became part of Frank Zappa's project 'Girls Together Outrageously' aka GTO's.
