Metis Gretel was a visual kei old-school band from Tokyo, Japan. Formed by vocalist 翠, guitarists Rukia and and drummer 屑希 in October 2004. They debuted at a concert at Urawa Narciss on December 17th 2004. At this stage Metis Gretel had several support members on bass. In early 2005 guitarist 思惟 joined the band, but eventually left on October 24th of the same year. New members 美沙麗 and 刹那 from the band Яisk un logic joined on guitar and bass on November 1st 2005. The band, previously signed to Zenit Music Factory, switched to Sherow Artist Society in Summer 2006 and started being produced by former LAREINE vocalist KAMIJO. Metis Gretel disbanded on March 3rd 2008 after a oneman performance at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU titled "Dramatic Cult～last night continued～".
