Singer of Dance
A.k.a. Leannedra Maree Sharam Max Sharam
Australian singer-songwriter better known as Max Sharam (born 1969 in Benalla, Victoria). In 1995 she had three top 40 hit singles: "Coma", "Be Firm", "Lay Down", from Top Ten album "A Million Year Girl", receiving 8 nominations at the ARIA Music Awards and won "Best Cover Art" with Dominic O'Brien. Before, in the first '80s she spent several years traveling around Europe where she began busking. RAI TV news journalist Carlo Picone, one day in Florence saw her performance and invited her to audition for Forza Venite Gente, a popular Italian rock opera, for which she earned a starring role, making a musical tour throughout Europe for two years. Other italian theater productions engaged her and in the 1983 she received Star of the Year Award at the Cole Porter Festival in Genoa, releasing a 12" dance, "I'm Occupied" as Mex, produced by Carlo Picone, and distributed by Best Record.
