Guitarist, engineer, mixer, remixer, mastering engineer and producer from Hamburg (Germany) but now living in Nashville (USA). Born 25 April 1949 in Wuppertal. In 1962 he bought his first guitar and as a 13 year old boy he started to make music with his band together with Udo Dirkschneider which later turned into Accept. In 1972 he got introduced to the world of engineering at Stramp (Hamburg, Germany) where he build studio and stage equipment. In 1979 he build his own studio called Studio Tennessee (Hamburg, Germany) but moved the same year to Los Angeles (USA) where he started working at Larrabee Sound Studios (Hollywood, USA). But he moved something like back to Germany where he worked with Accept on their tour through Europe in 1980 and at their first record. From 1981 an 1984 he worked as engineer and mixer in Germany and founded the production company Double Trouble Productions together with Udo Dirkschneider in 1983. In 1984 he finally moved to the USA for good because he got lots of good job offered and moved his company to Los Angeles (USA). In 1996 he moved to Nashville (USA) and build his WireWorld Studio (Nashville, USA). In all the years he worked with an impressive list of artists: among others Ozzy Osbourne, Helloween and Metallica.
