Soul - funk - swingbeat singer - songwriter - producer - arranger - keyboardist - programmer Born in Vallejo, California, U.S.A. In school he formed the group Project Soul along with Louis A. McCall. In 1972 he moved to Memphis where he formed Con Funk Shun. In 1987 he started a solo career. His first solo hit is "To Prove My Love".
