Michael Drewett

Michael Drewett is a senior lecturer and the co-ordinator of the "Cutting Grooves Censorship of Music Archive" at Rhodes University's Department of Sociology in Grahamstown, South Africa. He penned two books ("Popular Music Censorship in Africa" and "Composing Apartheid") on the subject and was responsible for a limited-edition CD re-release of the "A Naartjie In Our Sosatie" compilation in 1999.
