As of 1996, Michael Jones was the Director of Education at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, Arizona. A well known recording school with many studios. He recorded the Grey Daze album "No Sun Today" in early 1997. Mixed the record, mastered it at A&M Records. There were several students assisting on the sessions, but all the engineering and production work was handled by him and his assistant/partner on "No Sun Today" Ghery Fimbres.
