Florida born, founder and lead singer with Los Angeles, Gothic Metal Band "Vampires Everywhere!" and CEO of Ikke Medal Couture, a music inspired clothing line. Michael Vampire grew up in Florida and started taking music seriously at around 18 years old. He took the opportunity to start playing in punk bands and doing small tours around Florida. At first it was more of a fun hobby but he enjoyed it so much that he decided then and there to dedicate his life to touring full time. Addicted to the buzz he got from performing live, Michael must of joined/started 8 bands, while living in Florida. In 2008 Michael, moved to Los Angeles and was searching for studio gigs to pass the time. During this painstaking search he met with different musicians, along the way, that were tired of the same old studio gigs and pop bands. Seeing this, Michael decided, from then on, to involve all the misfit musicians he met, along the way, and form a band and in 2009 "Vampires Everywhere!" were created. The band ran from 2009-2012, releasing two albums and toured throughout the USA and Canada several times appearing on 2012 Vans Warped Tour, SXSW, Sunset Strip Music Festival and on the Something Wicked This Way Comes Tour. In November 10, 2013 Michael Vampire posted a message on Facebook stating a changing of the band's name. "I would like to personally welcome you to the new chapter in my life "The Killing Lights". As most of you know I was involved in a near fatal car accident many years back. I feel the name The Killing Lights properly represents my struggle with this tragic event & the new chapter in my music career. We will be entering the studio in 2014 to record our debut record on Century Media Records. CMR has been amazing with this transition & their positive energy towards the change has been awesome. We will be doing a UK Tour in Feb. to give a glimpse of what's to come. I have so much respect for my loyal VE fans over the years that have fought with us & stuck by us on every turn.
