Was a music journalist (1988) for Australian street-press magazine Inpress, before joining Warner Music Australia in 1990 for a little while in promotions. Rejoined Warner in 1994 as head of artist development, moving into A&R. Signed Regurgitator, The Superjesus, & The Whitlams. Between 2000-2002, set up Sputnik Records (a joint venture with Mushroom Records, first signing Muse, as well as signing 28 Days, Motor Ace & Machine Gun Fellatio. 2000-2006, was managing director of Festival Mushroom Records. 2006-2009 was senior VP of Warner Music Australia. Started the company Michael Parisi Management in 2009. He went to university at La Trobe Uni (1984-1987).
