This piece grew out of a desire to try something new! This is my friend Ian's first venture into the realm of songwriting -~ after his wife dared him to do so! ~- and performed it live for the first time on their 10th wedding anniversary. The lyrics and melody emerged from the depts of a new relationship later in life where each person's previous experiences feed into friction within the relationship, and the joy of overcoming the challenges and embracing our differences. Recorded at Supry Sound Productions in Winnipeg, MB CANADA.
