A long time collaborator of legendary composer Philip Glass, Michael Riesman has conducted several of Glass' recordings including the landmark compositios "Einstein On The Beach", "Koyaanisqatsi" and "Songs From Liquid Days". When Mr. Glass was approached to participate on this recording, he chose Mr. Riesman as the pianist to interpret his work.
