Singer, guitarist and songwriter, born 10 December 1951 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Founding member of The Nits in 1974, left the band in 1985. Released a solo album, Infant King, in 1989. Michiel Peters contributed together with Henk Hofstede of Nits two songs to the album If (2005) by Swiss composer and keyboardist Simon Ho. These two songs, Princess Of The Window Sill and Endless Child, were sung by Michiel and Henk together. As Michiel & Alex he released in 2009 together with Alex Roelofs, also a former member of The Nits, the album The Odd Men Out (On The Poppy Parade).
