A.k.a. Marie-Christiane Denise Ducap
Michou is the daughter of composer and musician Narmine Ducap who discovers her musical talents and composes her first song Papa Noel / Viens Dors Dans Mon Dos / Sega Klaxon / Route En Corniche in 1968. She recorded her first sega in 1971. At the age of twelve she knew her first hit With Crasé Salle Verte / Larobée and becomes " The young bride of La Réunion". In 1974, she published Bouscule, Bouscule Pas / Femme A Pic, a song that was re-released in 1982 by Carlos (3) under the title " Mario mon coco" (Mama Panama / Mario Mon Coco). His father has always favored studies to music, Michou will wait his fifteen years to perform on stage. After many singles, she made a decisive encounter with the musicians of Caméléon (2) (among others, Alain Peters, René Lacaille, Loy Ehrlich and Bernard Brancard) who in 1978 signed the orchestrations of the LP Vol.1 - Tombé Levé at Diffusion Royale. In the early 1980s, Michou gave concerts in Mauritius at the Theater of Port-Louis, and at Le Bataclan in Paris. In 1984, she joined the band Calypso, where she met her companion, guitarist Marcel Albac.
