Mick Mercer is a journalist and author best known for his photos and reviews of the goth, punk, and indie music scenes. He started his punk fanzine 'Panache' in 1976, went on to edit 'Zig-Zag' and write for Melody Maker and then a contributor to the Volume Magazine series in the early-to-mid-1990s. He has written various books including 'Gothic Rock' and 'Hex Files' and publishes a monthly online magazine called "The Mick".
