Boston based jazz orchestra, active from the late 1920's until November, 28th, 1942. The orchestra was one of the resident orchestras at the famous Boston club "Cocoanut Grove". Its tragic last day was in 1942 as the orchestra was just about to play the second performance on that evening when the a fire started in the bar. The fire took 492 victims, as the bar was visited by more than 1000 people that night. Amongst the victims of the fire, there were also several members of the orchestra, such as Bernando Fazioli and Grace Vaughn. Others survived, seriously burned, such as Jack Lesberg, Romeo Ferrara or Al Maglitta.
