MIDNIGHT RIDER is a German classic heavy metal/hard rock band, formed in Koblenz in 2004 by guitarist and main songwriter Blumi (2). The first MIDNIGHT RIDER line-up featured musicians both from Germany and Japan, and consisted of vocalist Wayne Micha Baum (ex-British Steel), guitarists Blumi (2) (Metal Inquisitor, Metalucifer) and Samm Shinji Tachi (Magnesium (3), ex-Sabbat), bassist Cliff Bubenheim (Metal Inquisitor, Deathfist, Metalucifer) and drummer Kenji Naruse (Gorgon (4)). After the release of their self-titled 12" EP (Midnight Rider) in 2008, the band quickly made itself a name in the underground scene all around the globe. Since 2013, MIDNIGHT RIDER features a new and all-German line-up and is going to release its long-awaited debut album "Manifestation" (Manifestation) in April 2017 on Massacre Records.
