born 1934, Galați, Romania died December 1998, Bucharest, Romania Romanian writer, lyricist, better known as Puiu Maximilian. He was married to Stela Popescu, a Romanian comedy actress. Nephew of actor Vladimir Maximilian and grandson of Puiu Maximilian a Romanian stage manager, lyricist, theatrical producer. His brother, Ion Maximilian (born June 6, 1932, Galați - died January 20, 1985, Constanța) was a stage manager and theater director.
