Mihemed Şêxmûs Salih (1948–1989), also known as Mihemed Şêxo in Kurdish, was one of the most important Kurdish folk singers. With his sentimental, traditional and often political lyrics he impressed the Kurdish music history like few before him. Even today, many young artists still impressed by his works.
