Bassist, composer and orchestral director, born 19 December 1975 in Havana, Cuba. He obtained a Master of Music Education at the Higher Pedagogical Institute "Enrique José Varona" and he studied electric bass at the Conservatory "Alejandro Garcia Caturla". He was also part of the universal septet of Cuban son "Ocasión". In 1998 he became musical director of the group "Unión Perfecta" which occurred in the mythical room La Tropical and the group "Conson". Mijail moved to Paris in 1999, he worked as a bassist, chorist, composer and arranger for several years at La Bodeguita del Medio in the Rue des Lombards where he shared the stage with greatest artists: Omara Portuondo, Miguel "Angá" Diaz, Tata Güines, Changuito, Compay Segundo, Camilo Azuquita, Oscar D'Leon and so many others. He composed the track "Cha Cuba" for the Orquesta Aragon in 2001, in their album "En Route".
