This new release from Mikans comes from recordings made in the summer and autumn of 2010 in Japan and England. From the floating but powerful 'Redemption', through the atmospheric 'The Web', the evocative 'City at the Edge of the World' conjuring and contrasting city and country life in Japan, to 'The Way Back' with its combination of Japanese traditional instruments and electronics, this collection of songs exhibits traits from both countries. With this second release, Mikans is also appreciating both acoustic and electronic elements in the nurturing of his creations.
