British music business executive (born 1947/48; died September 18, 2004) His career started by working for the publicist Keith Goodwin. In the early 1970's he founded his own PR agency Mike Gill Associates. After becoming managing director of GM Records, he was set as head of the U.K. branch of Riva Records by its owner Billy Gaff. There he was active from 1975 until 1982. From the early 1990's until his death he worked as consultant to PolyGram and Universal on the Dusty Springfield catalog (Often together with Roger Wake). On September 18th, 2004 he died in London of a heart attack at the age of 56.
