Michael Knapp (born May 15, 1956) is a visual artist and vocalist. He was a founding member of an early punk band, Not Much, in Tampa, Florida's growing punk scene of the late 1970s. Mike later founded Triple XXX Girls in the early 1980s with former Not Much member Dorsey Martin. Triple XXX Girls toured extensively in Florida into the mid 1980s opening for many national acts including The Talking Heads on their Stop Making Sense Tour. Mike became the exhibits director at Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) and is currently MOSI's artist in residence. He is literally a living exhibit displaying and painting in MOSI while interacting with visitors and discussing his paintings as he works on them.
