Mike Royer

*1941 US

A.k.a. Michael W. Royer

American designer, more precisely a comic book artist and inker (born 1941, Lebanon, OR), best known for his work with pencilers Russ Manning and Jack Kirby. From 1965 to 1979 worked in the comic book/strip fields. 85% of his assignments were inking and lettering. From late 1979 he spent 14 years with the Walt Disney Co. as a product designer and character artist. He was appreciated in the record industry for his illustrations of the 13 Cruisin albums by Increase Records released June 1970, Jan.1972, Sept. 1973.
