Born August 21,1988 in Queens, New York. Mikey Shyne is an American actor, recording artist and audio engineer, in which he is the founder of Thunder Alley Studios in NYC. He initially became only locally, yet very well known for his debut single, "Set Me Free" released in February of 2015. The song was released on a whim and prior to, the artist had no direct connection to the music industry, except for a few short lived, futile attempts at releasing records about 5 years before. He initially went by the Portmanteau 'MikeyBe' but later chose Mikey Shyne, a play on the word shine, in which he mentions he felt it was the right time for him to break out and shine in the spotlight after a battle with overcoming an addiction crisis. As a rapper, he performs under the mononym Drake. Throughout the first four years of his career, he has released 14 Singles, mostly independent and self funded. In December 2016 by chance, he met 2 brothers from Austria, DJ/Producer Duo Copamore, who were just off their hot #1 Single 'Where's Your Love'. They were looking for someone to be the official lead vocalist for a majority of their upcoming projects and Mikey appealed to them. Shortly thereafter, they released the Tropical House track 'Across The Line' which debuted and went straight to the top of several countries iTunes Charts. Together they went on to release 2 more singles within an 18 month span, 'Where All The Lovers Go' & 'Step Into The Light'. Both reached the top 10 on multiple Global EDM Charts. 'Step Into The Light' reached #1 for 8 consecutive weeks on the International Dance Charts and several weeks at #1 on EU iTunes Charts. The conglomerate is set to release several more tracks in the spring of 2019.
