A Japanese female singer born in Tokyo on August 22, 1949. Her unique husky voice which like a pronounce with a nasal twang It matched funky rhythm and became a big demand at the time. Her sister became an actress of Shochiku after passing the Miss Ale French contest, and 平山洋子 Yoko Hirayama (園江梨子→園えり子→平山洋子) who was active as a singer later.
