Obscure and underrated '90s alt.rock band from Mass. who in turn rock and jangle with male & female vocals, at time reminiscent of X jamming with mid-period R.E.M. Changed name to Permafrost for their final LP, then disbanded. Singer Ad Frank went solo. "Clutter," their 2nd and final LP under the MD name, was the first release, in 1994, on the power-poppy US/UK Rainbow Quartz indie label.
