A Cajun group founded in the mid-1930's by Beethoven Miller (tenor banjo), Preston Manuel (guitar) and J. B. Fuselier (fiddle). Guitarist M. J. Achten joined the group for the Bluebird recording sessions. Miller eventually left the group, which was then renamed to J. B. Fuselier & His Merrymakers.
