Czech trumpet player and orchestra leader. Born October 20, 1930 in Strakonice, died October 26, 1978 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia). Member of the Karel Vlach Orchestra 1958–1968, Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Berlin 1968, leader of his own studio orchestra in the GDR until 1974 (mainly featuring members of Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Berlin), Orchestr Československé Televize 1974–1978.
