A.k.a. MILS
Mils is a French Rock band based in Montpellier, south of France. In 2012 Mils released “Man is a lonely Soldier”, its debut album. It was produced by Drop (Sybreed, Obsydian, MXD, Samaël) at the Downtone Studio in Geneva (Switzerland). His sound engineering skills gave birth to an album of robust resonance with an enchantingly hybrid style. The result is a music characteristically introspective, contemplative and epic, so that each Mils' song provides a contrasting universe. This range and variety (of moods) is a result of blending the work of musicians. This debut album, which was warmly welcomed by the reviews, was the opportunity to work with two guests, Benjamin Nominet (Sybreed) and Steve Fari (This Misery Garden), who were two amazing artistic meeting. Lately the live crew was squeezed to only 4 people: Mélodie Pastor (vocals), Tristan Milian (guitars), Jack Tronquet (synth) and Ben Marmier (drums) so that the band want to corner in a more rock and electro rock vibe than ever. Mils released a first single “Come Home” with the new line up in September 2015. It is the first piece of the forthcoming EP which will be released fall 2016.
