French singer and pianist, was a founding member of "Les double six". Born 2-Feb-1926, died 16-Nov-2010 in Paris, France. She was one of the great personnality of the golden years of french jazz. In 1965 health troubles lead her to stop her career, so she became translater, a way to go on working with words.
