Bassplayer Emilie Blom van Assendelft started a solo career after her former band The Scene had to stop, due to the terminal illness of its frontman Thé Lau. During the proces of recording an album, Thé and Emilie worked together. After Thé died the album was released and Emilie reformed Mimile to a real band. Other band members are Jan-Peter Bast on keyboards, Marcel de Groot on Guitars and Stephan van der Meijden on drums. After the first album Jan-Peter Bast left the band due to his busy schedule and was replaced by PP Everts. A shoirt while later Marcel de Groot also left. There was no immediate replacement, but at last Rob de Weert (former Tröckener Kecks guitarist) joined the band for the recording of a second album and the following tour..
