A.k.a. Virginia Anne Minoprio
English actress, singer and showgirl (Ware, July 4, 1942). Italian by adoption, a passion for jazz, an admiration for Bessie Smith, Ma Rainey, Ida Cox, Claire Austin. Verstile singer goes by the evocative blues to swing & jazz classics with extreme naturalness. She worked extensively in theater with Walter Chiari, Marcello Mastroianni and Alberto Lupo and in TV with Carlo Loffredo, Nunzio Rotondo and Lelio Luttazzi. In 1968 won "Noce D'Oro" Prize as the most promising TV personage of the year. She has performed with Angel Pocho Gatti and the Quintet of Basso and Valdambrini. All this until the 1969. Followed another 40 years of success.
